Bruce L. Herr, Jr., DDS
Dr. Herr feels fortunate to have the opportunity to help the people in his community take care of their dental needs and help each person have a healthy, vibrant smile.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. An Arizona native, Dr. Herr returned to the Valley and has practiced dentistry in Gilbert for over 25 years.
Voted Top Dentist by his peers, Dr. Herr remains committed to continuing education and innovation. He has advanced training in cosmetics, crown and bridge, and implants. For more than a decade, he taught digital dentistry to other professionals at the prestigious Spear Education Center in Scottsdale. He has extensive experience in clear aligner therapy (clear braces) and CAD/CAM technology.
Dr. Herr also holds advanced training through the AADSM and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine—the highest credential in the field—reflecting his expertise and dedication to providing effective oral appliance therapy for treating sleep apnea and sleep-related breathing disorders.
He and his wife are the proud parents of four children and grandparents to eight wonderful grandchildren. Dr. Herr loves spending time with his family, especially cheering them on at games, concerts, and performances.
Brittney - Receptionist
Brittney is an experienced dental front office professional with 13 years in the field. Originally from San Diego, she moved to Arizona in 2017. Married and a devoted mother of four, she excels at managing the complexities of dental office operations while fostering a welcoming environment for patients. Outside of work, Brittney cherishes spending quality time with her family, finding joy in family activities and creating lasting memories together. Her ability to balance a career with a vibrant family life highlights her dedication and nurturing spirit.
Laura - Dental Hygienist
Laura has been a registered dental hygienist for over thirty years and is very passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable and helping them maintain their optimum oral health. Laura values keeping current and up to date with the latest technology and treatment and is always learning and improving her knowledge in order to provide her patients with the best dental care available. Laura and her husband have lived in the east valley for over thirty years. They have 4 children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and eight of the best grandchildren ever! For fun and relaxation, she loves to spend time with her family. She loves to cook and try new recipes and is an amazing cook, and she enjoys quilting (the slowest way to make a blanket!) We are so fortunate to have such a caring and compassionate dental hygienist at Power Smiles Dental Care.
